Bucket Truck Training Fort Mcmurray - The Vehicle-Mounted Aerial Work Platform or bucket truck training program is intended to decrease the risk of incident and personal injury while working with or in close proximity to bucket trucks by effectively training operators who are qualified. An aerial lift device is whatever vehicle-mounted device, telescoping or articulating, or both, that is utilized to position personnel to reach locations which will otherwise be inaccessible. Aerial lift devices are utilized to elevate workers to above-ground work sites.

The program aims to provide operators with the knowledge, skills, training materials and abilities required to be able to efficiently and safely operate vehicle-mounted aerial work platforms.

The program includes a classroom training session and a hands-on training session. In order to become certified, participants need to be successful in both parts. A full-size certificate and a wallet-size certificate would be given upon finishing the program.

Employees should make sure that people who are not authorized and trained do not make use of lift devices. Employees should make certain that they have on the proper protective equipment if working from the platform.

Course content comprises operating the vehicle-mounted aerial work platform, pre-shift inspection, safe operating practices, use of emergency controls, lifting capacity, and administering practical and theory tests. Operators would know rules under the federal and local regulations.
